Thankfully the festive relapse is over!
Tomorrow I am back in full training which will be a combination of Gym and Walks but it will be daily, no excuses permitted. In conjunction with this I will obviously be back on my self imposed alcohol and bread ban. I just can't wait!
So with that in mind and to bid farewell to the festivities I thought it was only fitting to sign off with a hearty Sunday roast, which obviously included some of Aunt Bessie's finest Yorkshire Puddings. I must however apologise to my colleagues at Aunt Bessie's as they to fall victim to my diet and fitness regime. Even on a Wednesday!!
Salad however will be playing quite a role, if not the lead role, so I will be doing my bit for the Hazeldene team.
The week ahead is all planned out and Tuesday morning will see me introduce myself to the DW Gym in Hull. Even when I am away from base camp, Wigan, I have promised myself that I will still get my Cardio time in.
I look forward to updating you on how the week turned out so until next Sunday I bid you farewell and wish you well for the week ahead.
Just before I go though, as it is the start of the new year, I thought I would give you a tip. Dust off your BBQ as the early forecast is that this Summer is going to be a scorcher!! Yes it really is, so think twice before you book your overseas holiday as you may just want to stay at home and have some great salads!!

The First!
A bit late I know but this is my very first blog.
I have now been training since returning from my Summer holidays in August. I am 2 stone lighter but I have to say if the festive period continues for much longer my loss will be in jeopardy. Thank God it's nearly over!
Anyway next week I will be upping the ante as I want to lose another stone and a half prior to my departure which is now only 10 weeks away.
My intention is to update my blog each weekend from now on, so if you are interested in what I have been up to you can get a weekly progress report. Which will, I promise, be brutally honest!
Between Monday, 4 January and Friday, 12 March (departure day) I only have 5 dates when I will be allowing myself to consume any form of Alcohol, these are January 22, 29, 30 and February 4 and 15. I am sure there will be some of you out there that won't see this as much of a challenge but this, in conjunction with no bread, will be an immense challenge for me.
Anyway I will be back at the weekend and as New Years Eve is between now and then I wish you all the very best. I for one will be making the very most of it!!
